How To Save Space In Your Bathroom - The Cheat Sheet
Are you renovating or designing a small bathroom? Well you’re not alone. As cities have become more crowded, bathrooms (and other rooms in the home) have gotten smaller. Don’t worry, we’ve put together 3 simple ways you can maximise space without making your bathroom feel pokey or dysfunctional:
1. Basins with a projection of less than 400mm are ideal for small bathroom spaces. Additionally if you’re dealing with a truly tiny space, like a powder room, look for basins with soft or rounded edges, they’re harder to bump into!
2. In-wall cisterns are a fantastic option that can save you up to 150mm by putting the working components inside the wall. If you’re building a new home or renovating and stripping your walls right back you shouldn’t have any issues using an in-wall cistern. They also look fantastic!
3. Short projection pans – maximise the space saving goodness of using an in-wall cistern by pairing it with a short projection wall hung or wall faced pan (like our Clear pictured below).
